My name is Anthony Dao and I just recently got back into reading after a long absence of a few years. I recently found this site and thought I'd give it a shot since I always have a little trouble finding what to read next. My favorite types of books are Sci-fi and mystery/adventure books, but I'll pretty much read anything else as long as it strikes me as interesting. Lately, I've been reading a lot of Murakami books, which I have greatly enjoyed and even got one of my friends who never reads to get into Norwegian Wood. I'm currently reading Ender's Game and I'm already enjoying this so much that I'm probably going to get the rest of the series after I'm done with this one. I don't have much on my shelf right now, mainly because I used to rent books when I was smaller due to lack of money to buy the actual books. I am only adding the books I actually own on this shelf, which is small but growing.

I live in Houston, Texas and I am currently attending the University of Houston while majoring in Finance after a stint as an Engineering major that ended up horribly. My main hobbies are Mountain Biking, Paintball, Soccer, Swimming, PC/Video games and of course reading. I am of asian decent (kind of obvious from my last name I know). My parents are Vietnamese but I was actually born in France, so if there are any french speakers out there, I'd be happy to talk with yall since my french has been slacking lately from lack of practice. « less
