I am a certified book junkie. I love nothing more than a trip to the local book store or library. Reading has always been a big part of my life and my favorite hobby. I love suggestions, so if you have any great reads...please feel free to let me know!

Every so often you come across a book that sweeps you in. This was one of the few books that had me at page 1. A story of friendship, enduring love and fate. Beautifully written and one every woman should read. The bonus to this book is getting a close up narrative of Chinese customs from long ago which I have been told, still remain today. A simply gorgeous read.

One of the best page turners I have read in a long time. This was chosen as the book of the month for my work book club...I found myself constantly discussing with co-workers. A LOT of twists and turns....questions to be answered or were they? I read Mystic River years ago and loved it. Yet again Lehane has not dissapointed.

The first few chapters had me thinking "do I have the patience to get through this?' and as read the book, it became addictive. I am so happy I finished it (in one weekend at that). I fell in love with the characters & the romanticism of it all. I wanted this book to go on a bit longer. This book makes you think of relationships, frienships, family and life.....the what if's" and the span of ones lifetime. Simply captivating story.

A book that stays with you for days. Poignant biographical story. This hits every level: war, love, faith, future and past. Wonderful, heat-felt book.

A lot of twists and turns as is the normal Patterson fashion. He never fails to deliver the suspense with every turn of the page. A fun, fast beach read.

This was the longest, most drawn out book I have ever read. If it was 2000 (lol) pages shorter, it would have been a LOT better. Kostova paints a beautiful portrait of characters, geography, and tale...it was just too too long.

A lie that profound was sure to be the demise of Dr. Henry. Interesting how the main character was a doctor and made the decision he did. It makes you think of how ONE action can alter the lives of many.

Not usually a book I would pick up. I thought I would be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't. Very boring for historical fiction. There always seemed to be something missing from the story. You can figure out where every character is going by the first few chapters.

In my opinion only, you have to be VERY open minded to read Dan Brown books. A true test of "what is fiction" and "what is actually true". Brown weaves an intricate storyline between science and religion. An intelligent rollercoaster ride. Those who find it offensive must realize this book is located in the FICTION section of stores, libraries, etc.

Funny Funny Funny. I have yet to see the show but the book actually made me laugh out loud. A fun look at "the woman scorned" in high class LA. The story takes you from the very tippy top of having it all to "how did I get here". With a colorful array of characters, this book is sure to have you laughing out loud at LEAST once. Cute, fast beach read!
