I know what you mean. I read somewhere that Anderson actually dictates his books --- tells them out loud and someone else writes them down. I don't know if it's true, but it definitely explains some of the lack of structure. I just re-read my little reviews on my LJ for the 3 1/2 books I managed to read, and it's funny to see how I start out saying "It's trashy but fun" and end up with "It's JUST TOO TRASHY" (http://sraets.livejournal.com/tag/kevin+j.+anderson - read from the bottom up). Ha. I'll never read anything by this guy again.

hehe. I know what you mean. I gave up midway through book 4. It's just too silly and life's too short. :)

I saw you rated "The Light Ages" 5 stars. I really enjoyed that one too. Have you read the sequel yet? I have it on the shelf but didn't get around to it yet.

I've only read Bridge of Birds by him. Really enjoyed that one.
