I knew Poe wrote horror and poetry, but I'm surprised by his humor pieces!
Thank you Richard! I hope that you enjoy it. Please keep in touch! -Angelica
Nice me too like to read the books........
hello, how r u?
Thanks for joining the group, I'm Reading I Do. I'm looking forward to our discussion of the book.
Hey, I noticed that you have read "The Blood Covenant." Mike Haley, one of the authors, was my pastor/mentor for twelve years. It is nice to see that there are others that have read this little gem of a book.
thanks a lot for the advice..i'll sure give it a try..
Hello Richard! Great to see you here! Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, I'm here. I think I'm on every social network known to mankind and then some. Cat, on the other hand, doesn't share my insanity. She mainly sticks to facebook and myspace. Wow! Hell of a book list you've got there. I might poach a few off it sometime. Always looking for a good read. Oh, and before I forget, thanks for the beer! Much appreciated!
Thanks for accepting my frnd request.
Thanks, Richard. Stay tuned. Summer will show up again in Doomsday Can Wait!Lori
Hi Richard,Just stopping by to browse your shelf. Hope things are going well for you.Ben
Hi Richard,Great to see you here on Shelfari!! I find shelfari so much more satisfying than MySpace. I will be checking your shelf from time to time. Thanks for the invite, and hope to see you around the groups.Ben

Hey, how crazy is it that we're the only 2 people here with Conan on our shelves????
You never know who you will find on this place! LOL. I don't spend a lot of time here, mostly on myspace. But feel free to drop APW a review. It probaly is starving for some here! LOL
Ah, ha! I found you! Will be using this picture till I find something better. It's a self-portrait I did many years ago. Won't be able to do much till things at work slow down, but this looks like it will be fun!
Mem Fox is so wonderful; have you ever looked at her children's books? There was a PBS show on her and her treaching... great.I've worked in libraries and managed bookstores for many years and love being surrounded by books that I may never read but like to recommend the best in a genre if I have the experience. I still receive 3 book review papers but missthe sensation of books all around me though I try at home.I just got Plato and a Platypus Walk Into a Bar in my mailbox.Time to start reading!
I read Frankensteins Castle in the late 80's and related to the writer's experiences. I have read the requisite 5 books and admire Wilson's intelligence and willingness to think outside the box. I must say your shelf is impressive though not all for me. I enjoy midlist fiction and read to that purpose.
When sis you read Frankenstein's Castle... are you a Colin Wilson fan?
I thought you might be interested in a contest that I’m holding. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun. ‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my next suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies. So here’s a great way to ‘kill off’ your boss, or childhood bully. ;)For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This contest is for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I’ve been getting lots of entries from my Shelfari friends, and I look forward to receiving yours. :)http://www.cherylktardif.com/contests/~Cheryl Kaye Tardif, bestselling author of Whale Song, Divine Intervention and The River
