Hi everybody! I go to a Lutheran church, but my favorite church is back in my dad's home town. It's really old (or at least to me) and it's got the big stain glass windows! It might be my favorite place ever! I love animals! I've got a westie, a schnauzer, and a cat. (Don't ask me what kind she is because have no idea)! :) I would love to... more »

I can't remember if I mentioned this in one of your posts or not, but you really should check out 'The Book Thief.' It's fiction, but it's incredible. It's about a teenage girl's experience in the Holocaust, though she herself is not Jewish; her family is hiding a Jew instead. The best part is that the book is narrated by Death.

(I just finished grading your book review, which is how I got to thinking about more recommendations : )

Hey Annie, if you go to my shelf, take a look at a book called "Nightlight" and read the descriptions, I'm hoping to buy it soon!

I havnt seen the movie but the trailer looks pretty similar. I think the way he wrote the book makes it sound really emotionless and it seems boring but its basically look like the same thing. I liked it because I got passed the "boringness" and I liked the message, you might if you really liked the movie but it is strictly a political book.

We are currently reading Lady Chatterley's Lover by DH Lawrence and The Spy Who Came in From the Cold by John Le Carre. Our February books are The Wind-up Bird Chronicles by Murakami and Of Human Bondage by Maugham. We begin choosing he next months books about mid month.
