    Hi, Annelise!

I saw that you read 'The Last Girls of Pompeii,' and it struck me as an interesting read, but from some of the reviews, I didn't know if it held appropriate content or not. I was wondering what your opinion was from a person who has actually read the book.

    Thanks so much!
    May the Lord bless you!

The Lioness Quartet is called "The Song of the Lioness." The first book is called "Alanna: The First Adventure." Alanna has a twin brother Alan in the first book they are sent away to special schools to follow their calling. Alanna dreams of being a Knight. She disguises herself as a boy as she heads off to school and has loads of adventure. She has a special place in her heart for horses too. Along the way she finds her special horse. If you liked Narnia. You'll love Alanna.

I bet you will love the Max Ride series. Have you read the Lioness Quartet series: Alanna, The Adventuress. This is a great story set in medieval times.

You enjoyed it? :) Well, I guess everyone has different tastes...I just remember the scenes on the boat being very tedious at some points...

I didn't know there might be a Silver Chair movie--interesting...
When did you read Voyage of the Dawn Treader? I read it in fourth grade, and I thought that's why I was bored, but when I picked it up again more recently, I was still bored :)

You can explain about Susan! :) I don't mind them being spoiled...I kind of doubt that I'll read the last books unless they're really, really good...I have too many other books that I want to read.

I liked the Magician's Nephew the second best, probably. But it was a little creepy--the witch was even creepier in that book than in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! One of the reasons that I haven't read the rest of the series is because I heard something about Susan dying...which struck me as pretty weird...
