LOL shush about hunger games - havent read catching fireee yet! but yeah, Po's ending I was like "NOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYY???!!!!" and then proceeded to read Fire shortly after :) You won't be disappointed. And yeah, Bitterblue is a weird name, then again almost all the names in the novel are weird :) Fire's no exception - who would name their kid Fire? It throws me off when I read "Fire was sitting by the fire" ... that doesnt actually happen in the second book, but you get the point XD Also, I forgot to mention, read up on Fallen by Lauren Kate! It has fallen angel hotties like city of bones ;) minus the bro/sis thing goin on.

i meant "i'm". sorry. and i know bella is worse in hindsight, but i read at as a impressionable 14 year old, and i read this as a world-hardened young adult of 18...big difference :P i know that has i read it in gr.9 along with twilight i would have liked it a lot... but still not as much as twilight, cuz the victorian era isn't my thing really, and also when i read twilight no-body else knew about it, so it was that much better. NOW tho, after i have read them both and can compare the writing without my 14-year old delusions, i can see that GaTB is better. but still....its a teen book, no matter how u look at it. and while it's sure to be entertained, i doubt it will make me really think about life and all that, which is what i usually strive to get out of a read. In my eyes now, a good book is the kind when after finishing it you need to take a break from all fictions/manga/tv shows etc JUST because your wrapping your mind around what you just read.

'm' finding new things to occupy class time with - cuz its embarrassing to read fanfics or manga in class where people can see over your shoulder, and i can only check my e-mail so many times - to i read political/economic/artistic etc articles to amuse myself and look up weird blog chains, or look up retarded architecture attempts. its kinda fun....sorta :)

ps. i started reading A Great and terrible Beaty today...so far its okay, and i realized why i put it down when i started reading it in grade 9; Gemma sounds like a emo whiny brat in the first couple pages. I prolly opened it read that far and then put it back on the shelf.

omg you finsihed in one day!!!! told you it was amazing :D yeah, its not really a trilogy, but same world which is kind of different and interesting. I loved Po, and the ending was so sad :( YOU HAVE TO READ FIRE. I can say - hands down - its BETTER than Graceling!!!!! And she hasn't released the third book =( so I'm waiting on that - it has Bitterblue in it, so technically its the same characters. NOW GET FIRE. :D

rating was difficult, i started rating stuff all really high and then realized that unless i want to read the book again, it does't deserve more then a 3, and only my favourites deserve 5, but even then not always and then the books that were good at the time but in hindsight actually sucked get 2 and the rest fall between 1 and 0

I bought The Summoning, still have to finish reading it, but the first few chapters seeem sorta lame, maybe it picks up after...but yeah, i bought it for lack of better book to pick up when i went to indigo once. I'll recommend good ones (this probs aint a good one lol). Read Graceling :D and then FIRE by the same author -- best book I've read in a long time :)
