I'm a Florida girl, born and raised. I've always been a reader, but I started trying to write my first novel at 13. More than ten years later, I'm still going at it! The story is different, and I like to think I've learned and grown a whole lot along the way, but the dream is the same. I am a three-time finalist in the ACFW Genesis contest.
I mostly read and write young adult fiction, but I enjoy classic literature and literary fiction as well. Current and past favorites include A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, To Kill a Mockingbird, Cry the Beloved Country, anything by Patti Lacy, Stephanie Morrill, or Leah Cypess. I like Neil Gaiman, Stephanie Kuehnert and Markus Zusak among many others!
