Books are my only vice and I will read anything, though I'm partial to mysteries, fantasy, sci-fi and young adult. My mom says I started reading at 2.     Thanks for the Sharon Shinn and Jane Lindskold recommendations. I took a look at your shelf and saw that we have similar taste in fantasy and wanted to make a recommendation of Robin McKinley--take a gander at The Hero and the Crown, The Blue Sword and Deerskin (It can be dark at times--there is a rape). They are beautifully written and I think you would really like them.

    I enjoy cozy mysteries by ~ Miranda Bliss ( based in a Restaurant ) Joanne Fluke, ( based in a Bakery setting ) Joanna Carl series- based in a Chocolate Store - these are the first ones that come to mind, Im sure that I will think of more later ~ :)
