“I think you have to be in a certain vibe to enjoy this book. Sometimes I found myself struggling to finish reading the paragraphs, just because some of it are expected already.

Not my favorite Yoshimoto, but a fun read nonetheless.”

Travels with My Aunt

“My notes after reading this book are:

Pot makes you a lot of friends.
If you're going to ruin your life, ruin it happily.

I liked the idea of the book (although characters are cliche), however it's the execution that I didn't like. Some parts seemed rushed and some seemed irrelevant altogether.

Although I wouldn't say I'd read this book again, I'd recommend it to other people to read.”
