I love to read, always have, but for some reason for the past 11.5 years of my life I stopped reading. I got married, was living my dream as the Gypsy Queen. I guess life was just a bit hectic. I left Texas and moved to Colorado, Tennessee and then Juneau, Alaska. I moved back and forth between Alaska and Texas for the past 5 years. Love Juneau!!!
This year, I got a divorce... amicable, we are good friends. I love Sci-fi movies and books. Once I saw Twilight at the movies, I decided I wanted to read the books. I bought the series and have read them 4 times in the course of 3 weeks. Just loved, loved, loved, the books... and especially the way the movie follows the books, in story-line and characters... it's like the books were written after the characters were cast for the movie.
Well I got back into "reading mode" and have read 40 books in the past 6 months. Trying to make up for lost time I guess. LOL!!!
If you haven't read Twilight Series, do so!!! It is awesome. I just ready The Vampire Diaries Series and I absolutely loved them!!! Way up there with Twilight, really good! Oh, if you do decide to read The Vampire Diaries, DO NOT READ THE BACK COVER OR WRITE-UPS... MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!! Both book series are written for Young Adults, but are very clean, as far as sex goes... no sex, just up to your imagination.
I also highly recommend: Sookie Stackhouse Series and House of Night Series, exceptionally good!!! These two series contain sexual situations and adult language, but are extremely good. House of Night Series is written for Young Adults, I guess older Young Adults.
Enjoy your reading and let me know if you read something good that you would like to recommend.
