My love affair with books began when I was very young. In elementary school, library day was always my favorite day of the week. I used to love being among all those books, and I wondered what it would be like if I hid and was left behind. Then I could spend all night reading all the books I wanted. At home I rushed through my chores so I could bury my head into the book of the moment. Today as a grad student, I rarely have time for very much 'fun' reading, but between semesters, I always read about five or six books. As the end of the semester approaches, I begin compiling my reading wishlist with anticipation. Since I am near graduating, I am happily looking forward to many hours of pleasure reading.... « less
