35 years old, been living with the love of my life for 12 years, no kids, no pets. Managing to keep a house plant alive.

Lover of tarot, British mysteries, American poetry, going for very long walks, striking up casual conversation with the dead in cemeteries (even though they don't answer back), the smell of Spring flowers, the sound of Autumn leaves, the feel of cooling Summer raindrops, and the sight of Winter snowflakes.

I earn my living as an Adjunct Lecturer in the English department at a small-ish public university, teaching technical writing, literature, and composition, mostly online/from home. When I can find it, I do editing work on the side.

Have spent the past year on a serious, long-term weight loss journey, during which I've lost over 90 lbs so far . . . and I'm still losing, slowly but surely. Working towards a goal of 100 lbs lost. Doing it with Weight Watchers online, and the aid of a GoWear Fit device that I wear pretty much 24/7 (except when in the shower). « less
