I'm 33, happily married, and have 3 kids. Reading is my sanity, ha! I love to read just about anything. Lately I have been into memoirs. I love hearing about people's experiences! Feel free to suggest any good reads! :)

    Hi Annabella,
    Thanks for the note.
    I lived in C-Springs from 94-97.
I went to school there for two years then took a year off before transferring schools.
I finished up at the University of Wyoming.
The bookstore I really liked downtown was the Chinook Bookstore. I searched for it on Google and I guess it was closed down.
As far as bookstores go, it was as if Michele's closed down.
    Major bummer!
    Glad to make your acquaintance!

    Hi Annabella,
I noticed you were from Colorado Springs.
I lived there for three years, but am originally from Colorado.
They had a really cool bookstore downtown, but I forget the name...
There was a little used book store as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone now.
I used to live down on 8th Street in the apartment complex opposite Southwest Wine and Spirits (Great place to find good wine and microbrews).
Anyway, just thought I'd drop in and say hi :)

You click on the book with the left mouse click and it should say "show books on" and you choose that option. Then you should see something like a menu with your shelf, your wish list, your reading list along the top row, and then going down should be a list of all the groups you belong to, and you can add the book either to the group shelf or the groups "books to read" shelf. This means you have to be a member of the group to put a book on the shelf.
    Hope this helps!

I have to say I watched Puple Rain this weekend and laughed thinking about our conversation about Prince. I did not know your husband was a musician? How exciting! You have a very talented family then huh? I hope everyone is feeling better!

Hi...I'm sure the wish list is different for different people but for me it is a list of books I want to get...my reading list is compiled of books I own but have not yet read....I have such a backlog of books to read that (for now, at least) I am trying not to buy anymore books until I read at least 10 of the books on my reading list

Haven't talked with you for awhile. So what are you reading now? I just finished The Secret and loved it. As a family we have been raised with many of those beliefs anyway. It is just a matter of getting focused again. I also read What would Jackie do. IT was kind of fun, I didn't know a lot about her but she could work it in every situation to her advantage. She was good! It even has quotes from Deepak in it.

Hey Annabella! Thanks so much for joining our gathering of Goddesses!! I threw out a discussion question yesterday just to get things stirred up!
Are you having a good week? How are the kids? Is everyone well? We're digging our way out of several inches of pollen here in Georgia...fortunately it hasn't affected me at all (knock wood!), but everyone around me is sneezing and coughing.
Whatcha readin'? I picked up The last Valentine this weekend and almost read it in 2 days. I also spotted The Memoirs of Cleopatra at the library, but it's thicker than Gone With The Wind!! I'm flying out to Seattle next month so I think I'll bring that book with me on the plane!
Hope you're having a great day!! --Claire
