    Great short novel.
It's raw and also morbid. An excellent story about a diferent childhood of four brothers.
McEwan focus on some tabu issues but he does it in a great way, not to shock the reader.

Dune was a turning point to me of goodwriting sci-fi. Herbert manage perfectly how to tell a great story and how to write flawless.

A breath taking story. Small, simple and awesome. I recommend this one.

This is a very interesting policial. It's not as better as The Purple River. It's clear that it's his first book. It has some cliches that are very anoying. As the story goes by it loss some interest. At least to me was like this.

It could be much better than it is. I think Brett Easton Ellis did so much better on American Psycho.

This is one of my all favourite books and Houellebecq top fave. Houellebecq knows how to be incisive and direct on his ideas. For some people he is not a easy going reading just because he is very "in your face" and raw but I think that's one of the reasons that he is so good. Plataform goes into the sexual turism and much subjects that are really human. go for it :)
