Ah, I love everything to do with the Arthurian tale (Really any fairy-tale, folklore, or mythology at all) so I look forward to reading a lot on your shelf, and your books. Thanks for the add! :]

    Hi :)

I haven't read a lot of books about the Arthurian legends (yet) - try to find some in a Dutch library, it is quite difficult. Especially when you're a student. I like the legends though, though I am ashamed to admit it is the BBC series 'Merlin' that made me read books. I've read Arthur, the Once and Future King and Mists of Avalon, and planning to buy le Morte dArthur... do you have any recommedations?

Hi, Angelica, thanks for the friend invite. It looks like we have an interest in roughly the same time period. I've done most of my research very specifically in 14th Century Scotland and England, but will probably start branching out more soon. Like you, I'm doing a lot of writing in between kids. This is the first year they're all at school during the day.

It is actually a series of books I have been working on for the past several years between raising the kids. Now that they are pretty much grown I have had more free time to put into being serious.

The series itself is a new breed of horror race. Not Vampire as so over-rated. This is a breed I have created all of my own. It has a little twist to it however whish I can not give away at this time. It deals with many paranormal happenings throughout and covers a wide variety of things people have always wondered about throughout the centuries. It also gives a whole new perspective on simple things such as deju vu., alzheimers., and death and beyond.

I have a small sample of this which I guess I could post here

"Just be quiet and listen." she told me. "Yes they exist. Ghost are made from madness. To become a ghost you must reach the point of pure madness. Whether it be from a tragic loss, an excrutiating death., or torture of some type. At the point of death that soul is so captivated in madness that it goes crazy., losses it's mind and this is what makes a ghost." She moved the plates to the side of the table. "Because of their madness they are confined to one place. Usually a place they associated with through death or near someone they are loved by or have loved. Some ghost are so driven by madness they seek revenge on those that should seem dangerous to them., some driven by the madness of love they attatch themselves to a person they fill the need to protect from others harm. Now just imagine if those souls were allowed to travel beyond those areas...all chaos would break lose and well that would not be a ghost." she downcasted her eyes. "That is something other than a ghost and well we are not talking about that right now. I am not a ghost, I am not a figment of your imagination. I am here., I am real" She pulled the hair on my arm and made me flinch. "I am flesh and blood and my soul is still fully intact." Then she laughed. "Besides a ghost would not have made you a sandwich. Maybe tapped on the wall or something and that is about all."
"So why are they confined?" I proceeded to ask.
"Why are crazy people committed and locked away?" she raised her brows back at me.

Hi Angelica, I've been doing pretty good...I'm looking forward to my vacation next week!!! I just started to read it and so far I love it! I noticed on about the author, you did work on the Sci Fi show Dark Shadows. I used to love the original version from the late '60's early 70's....as soon as I came home from school, that was the first thing I watched!! I liked the remake of it, too bad it didn't stay on for long.
    Take care,
    Cindy
