I grew up surrounded by books. Everyone in my family reads and that's how it all started for me. I find that I have a preference for science fiction and fantasy but I do enjoy romances, especially historical romances.

Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory have improved as collaborators. It's great to revisit the place featured in the Obsidian trilogy. Glad to see some of those characters here but great that the time period is different so many things are new. It makes for a whole new adventure :)

You never know where you'll find an angel or how they come to be. Great imagination from this writer who isn't one of my favorite authors. Great insight into autism.

California Angel was a book I truly enjoyed and will definitely recommend to be read.

Even if you've never read any of the books on the Riftwar series, you can still enjoy this book. Mainly set in Kelewan, it talks of a boy named Pug, who has been captured from his homeworld. He starts as a slave and ends up one of the greatest magicians Kelewan has ever seen.

It finished off the story begun in Magician: Apprentice nicely.

I love the uniqueness of Ruth. Ruth and Jackson are truly unique. I also love that Pern's past touches its present in this book and beautifully sets up the opening for the next book in the Pern series.

I read the first two books when I was but 10 years of age and the story stayed with me long after. I love the way that Kyra journey discovers what her life path is. A nice story that utilize stone circles. Definitely a must read.

I love this continuation of Crystal Singer. I love that Killashandra is no damsel in distress, even when she finds herself in a jam.

I have to say not a book I would recommend. Thank goodness I got it at a major bargain so I don't feel so bad.
