Hi I found you because you're a member of Hispanic Genre. I've been trying to get a discussion going about Latin American/Hispanic/Latino(a) literature. I'm a member of three groups devoted to the genre (I am the creator/admin of one) but I can't seem to get a discussion going! Angie, I am a retired elementary school teacher. I mostly taught second grade. If you go to my shelf, you will find a lot of really good books for your daughter to read. Feel free to contact me for opinions as to which I think are best. If you write, let me know your daughter's reading ability and interests (which are usually diverse at her age).Karen
