I just finished The Last Crossing... it was an okay piece of historical fiction. It didn't rocky my world. I started reading The Glass Castle last night for our book discussion. So far so good!
P.S. I might be taking a road trip down to the Tennesee Tinsel Town... I'll keep you posted!
Now that you are a woman of leisure - what are you reading?
P.S. I still owe you a long email!
Hey! Did I ever invite you to join Better than Starbucks? Look around, make yourself at home, start a new thread or dig up an old one or just read and jump in on the more active o
Hi Ang,
Wish you a Merry Christmas!

Prabhath
Hello Ang: )
How are you doing? I hope that everything is fine by you. Did you enjoy Thanksgiving? It was alright by me, just a lot of cleaning, cooking, and eating haha.
Hi Ang
Thanks for the comments about my photo.
It is from a story I wrote about the new scientifically advanced play equipment which some Mums do not like.
I tried to replace it with a pic of me and Australia's New Prime Minister Kevin Rudd but apparently I do not have as advanced a copy of Explorer as I need to do that.
I see youare quite adept at re-inventing yourself .
I agree with the poet about the new Ang.
I also see you seemed to have changed your background little or is that just im reading, a bad habit of both trades, I suspect.
Cheers
Bernie
I'm so excited for your success with Bonnie's book! WOO HOO! You deserve a big win, I couldn't be happier. :o)
I understand that you are busy these days-with work and the holidays coming up. Do you have any special plans for Thanksgiving? We are planning to eat out somewhere. The stove does not work good enough for a turkey lol.
You know I think I will Google Shahrunsh Parsipur (the author of Touba). I am curious why she was exiled and everything. Juding from her writing it does not seem that she did anything wrong.
Good evening Ang :)
I hope that you are well and that your days went by smoothly. So what are you reading these days? I just got a book from the library. Touba and the Meaning of Night.
Its about a Persian female writier who goes thru many hardships in her life becuz she writes books. The interesting thing about this book is that in Iran the books from this author are all banned. And the auther herself is living in exile in California.
Hope you will accept my friendship request. I'd love to learn more about you! If you get a chance, please visit my website at www.freewebs.com/conniearnold to learn more about me, and especially to read the poetry if you'd like!
Blessings,
Connie
The fact that my jaw is currently resting on my keyboard is certainly making it difficult to type. No lie, coke can man is the worst! Lord, help us all, but especially him. LOL! I do look forward to the other stories.
i dont know which is worse that my wife felt the need to defend me, or that she called me awkward and insensitive:) thanks, yeah, i think i am finally gonna practice a little shut up and get this manuscript over so you can put it on your "priority slush pile"!
