    Hi ang_batugan_bow. I have yet to read it. My aunt was the one who recommended it to me but I actually got my copy (swapped, actually) from another Shelfarian: maydayeve. It's actually a novel about Van Gogh- not a straight up biography. The same author of the book- Irving Stone wrote "The Agony and the Ecstasy". This is a novel on the life of Michaelangelo. Happy reading!

    hi abb! in case you're in manila next month...

    There will be an informal discussion (but with powerpoint presentation courtesy of sumthinblue) of "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova, on 13 September 2008, Saturday. Time will probably depend on when everyone has finished browsing at the Manila International Bookfair, but venue will be Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf - MOA (by request).

    hi, there's great book swapping happening at www.bookmooch.com. it has a forum here at shelfari, at http://www.shelfari.com/groups/23735/about.

    bookmooch is a site that lets you give away the books you don't want anymore and get the books you Really Want to&from bookmooch members all over the world!

    joining is free. you don't spend to get the books but you will have to pay postage to send internationally. with sea mail, you won't be damaged so much though (80/thin book, 150 up for heavier books).
