I tend to prefer books pertaining to spirituality and the paranormal, as that is what interests me the most. I also love subjects such as health, natural healing and alternative medicine, i.e., reflexology, crystal healing, aromatherapy and so on. I cannot read novels or anything fictitious... they just completely bore me....

Read "The Omnivores Dilemma" I think that was the book you were asking me about. Yep, it's on my wall. I have his other book that came out earlier this year: "In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto".

That was a cool change of winds.
OK then, so are you READY to accept the challenge? :)

By the way, nice to meet you, too.
I think that real good authors use their pencil/laptop to talk about every single thought and action of the reader, which writing is more suitable for everybody's imagination, it reaches a common point. This is a side of true art.
For starters, you can try Stephen King, "Pet Sematary" or "Christine", everything he writes is good. Personally, I don't like horror, but King is much more better than a horror story. Try him.

Well, so... what about you? Have you reached to any interesting thoughts in spirituality, paranormal, things like that?

    Have a great day, Angela!

Can't read novels? That's scary, really.
Everybody likes stories (I lie, most people don't read), I mean real good stories, that fascinates you intellect, shakes your soul, things like that.

I know people, I have friends interested in spirituality, paranormal (I'm love studying about it also) etc etc. and they don't like fiction. Stories give you more than you think, I'm sure you just read some reaaaly boring ones.

You haven't met that kind of writing that could do real magic, trust that, keep looking for it.

Not so sure about this book of John Edward's Angela. To me it was similar to quite a lot of other books on the subject. I think i prefer the way Sylvia Browne writes. It is interesting too, I stock J E's books in my books shelf & they just do not sell. People pick them up & put them back down again. I must tell you though I went to see him when he came to Australia & was very impressed by his intuitive readings of people in the auditorium. Uncannily accurate! Have a great day!!

Hello Angela, lovely to meet you on Shelfari. Yes we do have books in common! I loved the Linda Goodman books in the 80's. I thought then she was way ahead of her time. I don't get into Shelfari very much but it is lovely to befriend you. Take much care & many blessings.
