I am a Technical Editor by profession and one of my favorite pastimes is to read and surf the internet for information. I also sometimes take to story writing to satiate the creative impulse, or to pen down stories around characters close to my heart. I blog on www.felinemusings.com. In Jan 2009, one of miy short stories was published in a... more »

Hey Aneesha - thanks for the note. Yep, you can get "Baby Steps" in India - through Amazon, if not through bookshops. I'm blogging my new novel at www.curlygibson.com Let all your cricket-loving, crime-loving, humour-loving mates know. Cheers JD

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn

I too am a member of Spiritual Quest. I was just wondering if you had comments on the Ponder & Wonder poetry collection--forgot the name of book and author. Alas to say the one poem I read on Amazon was strained.

    Hi There!
Thanks for the note. I read your "Father Figure". It is interesting that I am inspired to write about factual incidents and emotions too. I have written one short story. However, I am told that there is practically no market for short stories. I do not want to do it for comercial or profit reasons, just published, any suggestions besides magazines?
    Thanks

    Hi,
You know, I had read Siddhartha and Steppen wolf together long long time back in college. Those days of intense reading and deriving meaning out of every page, every sentence..... all I remember is these two books had a huge impact on me in terms of simply empowering my introspective nature. I realized introspection is not just an indulgence and there are more out there like me. You should try and beg borrow if you have similar leanings.
