I've spent my life fighting boredom, so I've had many careers, including medical research, computers, live theatre (done everything from onstage to audience services to backstage, even chief tech on restoration of a 1928 3200-seat movie palace), teaching, . . . I've been a hippie, a biker, a Bohemian, a performer, paramedical, paralegal, counselor, done my own car work, and always followed my latest passion. Been an avid reader since I was less than three years old, so I still believe in the joy of plain old finding out stuff - what lives I haven't gotten to live I've still gotten to live!
