    “Overall I was very disappointed. This book was chock-full of poor. cliched characterization. The good premise was ruined by a lack of imagination during its execution, especially at the end. Remind me not to just grab "collaboration" books off the shelf anymore - whew!”

    “It's a little disconcerting that, two books into what looks to be a long series, we're not any further into finding out what the hell happened to cause "The Change".

    Maybe I'm more of a hard SF reader, but shouldn't we see more about the intelligentsia of this age trying to figure out what are the true parameters of this new world? How about a hint that something "bigger" is at play here?”
