As an information professional, my work takes up most of my time and unfortunately leaves little time to read anything other than the occasional (trade) magazine.
When I'm not working, studying... more »

Reminded me a bit of "The Da Vinci Code" with its historical and mythical references, codes and mystery. I felt it read a bit like a screenplay. Good read, though!

Without a doubt the most horrifying McBain ever... Recommended to me by my mother, couldn't put it down, right down to the chilling end.

Fascinating read, this introduction to Anne Rice for me, who manages here to combine a horror thriller with romance and adventure, placed in a historical setting. Could not put it down.

After having read Anne Rice's "The Mummy" both my Mom and I were on the lookout for more of her work when we stumbled upon this rauncy little number. Quite a surprise. As Anne Rampling, Anne Rice once again was ahead of her time. I read it a long time ago but still remember it quite fondly.

Not as enjoyable as "Mists of Avalon" to me, but nevertheless quite entertaining. Marion Zimmer-Bradley manages to lift the reader up and put them in an entirely different world, I think. This book saved an otherwise trying holiday.

Could not put it down! Loved the movie as well. Also, unbelievable as it may seem, quite educational.
