The Twilight books are listed as "young adult" but are very smart & full of action. I think Stephenie Meyer is going to be a favorite author of mine. I'm so taken in by the love story between Edward & Bella. Can't wait to see the movie this winter. I wish I knew some friendly vampires LOL

Absolutely my favorite book ever. The characters are not like any you've ever met before, and they do such unexpected things! It's time travel sci-fi! no it's romance! no it's historical fiction! it's just everything... And Jamie *sigh* He's the man every woman is looking for. And it's better every time I reread it... No other book has caught me up this way. EVER.

A lot of people say this is their least favorite. I've only read it the one time, so it's next on my list. I will give an opinion then...

I really was reluctant to read the French bits with the bonnie prince again... but I missed a lot the first time around, so I slogged thru it again. So sad when she lost the baby, too. Not that I didn't think it's a good story, it's just that I knew what was gonna happen, and I didn't want Claire & Jamie to be parted... couldn't face it until after Voyager came out & I knew she did go back.

Loved it! I especially liked the part where Jamie gets to be a pirate! and this is the episode where Claire gets to go back! swoon... Funniest part in the whole series when Jamie faints at the sight of her in his printshop. And we get Young Ian! yay!

This one really wasn't one of my favorites after I read it the first time. All I could think was "Bree is such a brat!" because she caused all kinds of problems from not letting the proper people know what the hell she was doing (Roger, Jamie, Claire, etc...) If I were Roger I might have told her to bugger off! lol

Great book! I hope she keeps cranking them out for another 3 or 4 books! A lot of stuff in there got summed up, and now we're on the ride to the Revolution.

Helpful for keeping track! It's parts about writing makes you want to drop everything & become an author.

LJG still isn't one of my faves from her books, but I read this to see about Jamie. I like the personal bits better than the mystery. Was sorta losing track of what he was trying to do...
