I also like to read books related to... more »

Yes, it would be lovely to meet. Where was Claire before? Vance and Jennifer Verschoor are doing multilit and Dennis Oliver is "greeter and navigator". I don't know what my role is going to be because I am clueless, but I have begun reading the session text, From Blogs to Bombs by Mark Pegrum. http://www.isbs.com/partnumber.asp?cid=27408&pnid=300184

Hi Maryanne! I am having a busy semester (as usual). Taking EVO mods training (will be helping out with Multiliteracies) but not keeping up at all. Am new president of the Rock Terrace School parent-teacher group. Teaching one class 15 hours/week at MEI. Who knows where the time goes? Hope you and family are all fine. It's been so long since I saw you.

    Hi Maryanne,
Yes, most of the books I read are in English. I guess I got used to it because I had a number of courses in English and American Lit at university and later, it was a way to keep learning the language. The same as you do with Spanish, I guess. A Hundred Years of Solitude was given to me by an American friend who visited us in Venezuela many years ago. She had just finished reading it and gave it to me before leaving ;-)

Dear Maryanne, so great to run into you again. No wonder you had a Spanish "twist" in your online persona ("anciana" as a user name sometimes, for example). I am sure I will find interesting books to read both in Spanish and English on your bookshelf. Come to think of it, I have not read much in Spanish in a longggggggg time ;-(
