I need to make a confession. I started reading Solitude 2 or 3 times and then gave up. How far did you get?

Yep. Me be both stalker and stalkee (but hopefully not too stocky, though I do own some stocks and occasionally eat some stalks. I once knew a cat named socks, but I digress.)

since we're swapping books ... do you want my paperback copy of Skinny B and the audio cd version Kite Runner? or are you a book only type? anyhow, i'm happy to send them over, if you're interested. Kite Runner is "read" by the author -- very cool listening experience.

Yeah, it is pretty cool. Besides the time I'm spending reading, now I have to add all of these friggin' books. That's a task in its own right (Get it! Right/write? It's a pun!)

i really liked "case for christ." i mean, i didn't close the book an evangelical but it certainly makes you stop and think. he takes a very scientific approach to the "unexplainable" events or tales of the bible and explains how they can be true. it's a very clever and well-written piece.

Year of Wonder -- you really like that one?? I must do some homework, I might want to add to my list. I liked Skinny B OK. I liked Fast Food Nation better. But Skinny B was amusing. Quick read. I guess I have to get around to starring my books. Project for the weekend!
