Done with Ghostwalk yet?
How're you doing on Lost Daughters? I just finished it ...
I need to make a confession. I started reading Solitude 2 or 3 times and then gave up. How far did you get?
Yep. Me be both stalker and stalkee (but hopefully not too stocky, though I do own some stocks and occasionally eat some stalks. I once knew a cat named socks, but I digress.)
i got your box o' books last night. thank you so much for sending! i can't wait to dive in ...
since we're swapping books ... do you want my paperback copy of Skinny B and the audio cd version Kite Runner? or are you a book only type? anyhow, i'm happy to send them over, if you're interested. Kite Runner is "read" by the author -- very cool listening experience.
Yeah, it is pretty cool. Besides the time I'm spending reading, now I have to add all of these friggin' books. That's a task in its own right (Get it! Right/write? It's a pun!)
i really liked "case for christ." i mean, i didn't close the book an evangelical but it certainly makes you stop and think. he takes a very scientific approach to the "unexplainable" events or tales of the bible and explains how they can be true. it's a very clever and well-written piece.
Year of Wonder -- you really like that one?? I must do some homework, I might want to add to my list. I liked Skinny B OK. I liked Fast Food Nation better. But Skinny B was amusing. Quick read. I guess I have to get around to starring my books. Project for the weekend!
i just got skinny b--ch too! (this site wouldn't let me spell this word out) by the way, i find your star ratings very helpful. cholera is almost a wrap...florentino's cheesy love reminds me of someone that you know as well.
hey guys.. yeah, this will be my primary book until march 3-4th. that and US magazine, but i couldn't find that to add to my shelf. everyone needs to be aware of how dr. phil revels in the failure of others, right?
did you see reg joined us??? HAHAHAHA
liking love a lot. slow beginning but weepy love makes up for it. i'll be shopping your shelf soon...and say what? did i see dexter on this site??? what's the world coming to? by the way, love this pic of you...it might make the "wall" @ the dudarosa.
Hello Cousin,Great site thanks for sending it my way.
the giving tree ... i actually never read that one, believe it or not. It was the Velveteen Rabbit for me. that set the course for the rest of my life.
that's fascinating -- you really loved a tree grows in brooklyn? i did enjoy it; rosheen made me read it. it's one of her faves, too. i'm going to make her join this b/c i know she'd love it. i have to read to kill a mockingbird -- it's kind of sad that i haven't read that one yet. did you see bel finally joined us on here?? haha.
