Thanks for adding to the Houston Readers (trial) calendar for the month of May. It's a bit of a pain to add the information in but I think it will be really handy. I'm willing to do it until the end of August and then will see how it works out for everyone. I think it's really handy myself :)

Hello! Thank you for responding to my question. I've decided to read the book after watching the musical. Twice. :)

    Hi Andi K,
I found you through your posts on Anna Karenina in a couple of different forums. Very interesting observations and questions. Then I read your original comments on Crime and Punishment, and was hooked. I hope you continue to write about your reading, and look forward to following you.
    Best regards,
    Craig

I've read the entire Lynley series and for the most part loved it. If you enjoy Believing the Lie, I'd recommend going back and reading the rest of the series in order, to get the benefit of the various character arcs. George is a very talented writer, even if I don't totally agree with some of the choices she's made with this series. Definitely worth your time, though.

Laughed out loud when I read the first line of your review on the Einstein biography. Having seen several shows about Einstein on PBS, I'm not revising my opinion. I already knew he was a jerk. How many great men can we look too closely at?

I just started listening to Her Fearful Symmetry. I remember putting it on my TBR list after you raved about it a year or two ago. Not sure what I'll think about it at the end, as the ending seems to lose a lot of readers, but at this point I have to say that Neffeneger can really write.

Hi Andi--I'd be happy to help! Once your accounts are linked, then your Shelfari email will be the same as the one for your Amazon account. If you want to change that email you would need to update your Amazon account (when you sign into Amazon, click "your account" in the upper right corner, then click to update your email/password/name). It may take a short time for the account settings on Shelfari to reflect the new email you updated on Amazon, but you can login with the email/password that you've updated on Amazon. Let me know if you have any questions or issues! Best, Amanda

I loved your review of Alcott's "The Brownie and the Princess." Like you, I've enjoyed rediscovering the "L.M.s" (Louisa May Alcott and L.M. Montgomery)... so I thought I'd pass along a tip. I found a treasure-trove of Alcott's shorter works online at Project Gutenberg (they are all in the public domain.) Just search for Alcott in the author field:

Hi Andi -- I'm happy to see you enjoyed Outlander. There are times I think that Gabaldon goes a bit overboard trying to include so much of her research in the narrative, but overall it is a memorable series, with wonderful characters and dialogue. Are you planning to read the next one?

My own name has an A fore & aft; in fact, it's a palindrome :) I like the way A-a names rise at the end-as long as people don't say 'uh' instead of 'ah'.
