Thanks for the friendship invite! I appreciate the positive feedback on my posts in the Star Wars group (I'm particularly proud of my post to 'George Lucas'). I see your a Doctor Who fan as well--while I will always love Dave Tennant's Doctor, I am really liking Matt Smith's take on the Doctor and most especially, the feisty Amy Pond! What do think of the new Doctor?

    Again, thanks for the invite!

    Cheers!

No worries about the repeat! As for SW:RF Target, I liked it a lot! It's a really quick read and gives more depth to the characters of the original SW: ANH since it occurs just after the death star has been destroyed. I got the whole series really cheap one month through scholastic book clubs with my students; I think I got the complete set for under a buck apiece!

I know what you mean. I think the only one I found truly strange, (more so then normal) that I really couldn't get into was Ed Wood. Ever seen that one?

I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory too, and I know what you mean, the original movie was truly odd! Of course, Johnny Depp makes everything better.

Yeah, I liked it best of all the Shakespeare I had read. The last good theater movie I saw was Alice in Wonderland. The last good movie I rented....the Dark Knight. Reading anything good for fun.

    Hello!,
I know what you mean, all year your reading books for school and you have no time for books for you. I always liked a Midsummer Nights Dream though. The only Holocaust type book that I remeber was a story for a children's literature course in college. I just finished Alice I Have Been. There were some elements to it that I did not like, but the writing was great and the story was interesting. I also just finished a great Daniel Silva spy novel. I am currently reading a history book about Henry VIII's kids. Seen any interesting movies latley?

    Hey Amy,
No worries! What have you been reading for school, is it horribly boring? Thanks for the review about Eyes Like Stars, I know what you mean sometimes books are just so slow that they don't grab your attention. Hope everything is going ok with you. Talk to you soon.

Oh man, I'm a bad internet friend. I'm really, really sorry I didn't reply to this note sooner! I haven't been on Shelfari in ages!

I'm good. I just saw Phoenix live this past Wednesday, which was amazing. I finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince recently. And to top that off we're in the middle of our state testing.
So Amy, how have you been doing?
