I have always loved to read. I cannot remember a time when the worst imaginable punishment for something I was caught doing (such as reading when I was supposed to be cleaning my room, or during math class) was not having my book confiscated. I am especially a fan of fantasy books but I love stuff like the Robert Langdon books and historical fiction.
I love books themselves too, I used to shelve the books in my high school library, and that s how I spent many, in fact probably most, of my lunch hours. I keep my books in the best condition I can as I read them and I have a set of rules for when people borrow my books. I am hoping to build myself a new bookshelf in a couple of months so that my collection of books by my favourite author can have a shelf to itself and so that the rest of my collection is not so cramped and starved for space.
I also like to spend my time biking, listening to country music, and babysitting! I love babysitting and plan to work with kids when I am older.
I also enjoy writing. Just for fun! A bedtime story here and there, an idea for an actual book on occasion. I would love to be a writer someday but I find it much more likely that I will be an early childhood educator.
I am in the ECE program at my top choice school from now until Summer 2013. I am loving it!
Books I dream of owning include:
-The Special Illustrated Editions of Angels & Demons, the Davinci Code, The Lost Symbol, and Inferno by Dan Brown (In hardcover)
-Which Witch by Eric Lasson
