“Highly entertaining, and highly recommended. This was a quick read and a very good travel companion. The protagonist (Gogol/Nikhil) is hilarious. He's like an Indian version of Holden Caulfield. The entire story really resonates to anyone with an immigrant background. It does lean on a few stereotypes here and there, but such is the case with any new genre. In this case, Jhumpa's writing is pleasing enough to forgive the few lapses.”
