“A travesty of the wonderful impressionist painters and other famous artists. Moore made them appear to be bumbling idiots and his feeble attempts at humor and "shock" were, at best, vulgar. As for research, any educated person is very well aware of the characteristics, works and habits of these famous characters. He, tediously, repeated all these known facts about each one
The story, admittedly 'inspired' by Oscar Wilde's Dorian Gray, did not work, for me. This book is a waste of time.”
