I'd like to give more than 3 stars for the character development and story concept but somehow this book went terribly wrong for me.
The first half had me thinking I was reading the same chapters repeatedly and bordered on boring. The second half picked up and got me totally involved, emotions wired. I can't recall hating a character in a novel as much as I hated Amy and rooting for one as much as I did for Nick. There was so much going on, so many hints, clues and excitement going toward the finale......and then nothing. Nothing!
It seemed like Flynn didn't know how to end this book, so it just came to a hurried halt. Done! I wipe my hands, it's over.
    I felt cheated.

This book is a far cry from Mario Puzo's Godfather.
It was mostly the writing. Ed Falco failed to bring Puzo's characters to life anywhere near Puzo did. They were all dull, dull, dull. The story was dull, dull, dull. I stayed with it to the end, hoping there would be some real excitement but it never happened for me.

A remarkable trip to the French Revolution. Made me cry for those living in France during the Reign of Terror.

Wow! What an undertaking by George R. Martin! He introduces us to dozens of very interesting characters, all with giant personalities, backgrounds, quirks, romances, fights and plots. I was constantly flipping to the index to refresh my memory on who's who. I surprised myself rooting for some, hating others and loving every page because this is a genre that I have always avoided. I own the rest of this series and hope to get around to reading them in the near future. (Not opening one immediately is only because my book hoarding addiction has me so loaded up with TBR's I can't plan on what I'll read next)

A travesty of the wonderful impressionist painters and other famous artists. Moore made them appear to be bumbling idiots and his feeble attempts at humor and "shock" were, at best, vulgar. As for research, any educated person is very well aware of the characteristics, works and habits of these famous characters. He, tediously, repeated all these known facts about each one
The story, admittedly 'inspired' by Oscar Wilde's Dorian Gray, did not work, for me. This book is a waste of time.

Fun, fun, fun. Typical Sophie Kinsella! If you're looking for literary depth, great writing....you're in the wrong place! If you want a fun read and "sorta silly" novel... you've arrived!
Sophie K. used the same formula for IGYN as in Confessions of Shopaholic. Different characters, same plotl. Just as much fun though. I smiled, lol, and quickly turned the pages. A good way to spend a day.

    Very sexy chic lit.
This third book of the trilogy was by far the best one. There was some excitement, outside of the bedroom and a fairly decent story to follow. However, I do admit to skimming rather often, to get past all the repetition and sexual overdoses. Something I almost never do!(skim, that is)

Better than Fifty Shades of Grey. Maybe that's because it finally begins to tell a story.........writing has not improved and the repetition is tooo annoying.
    It is a real "skimmer"

It was "interesting" if you know little or nothing about BDSM but somewhat tiresome and repetitive. I knew what this book was about before I read it, however, I found it a bit much, too much for my liking.
The writing was pretty awful. I swore to myself that if Anastasia, the main character, said Holy crap or crap one more time I would throw away my Kindle. She did....I couldn't bring myself to trash my K so I wound up skimming through the rest of the book.
I already have the second book in the trilogy so I'll try getting through it shortly. It's actually a continuation of FSOG because FSOG didn't really have an ending.
