I love to read, and have loved it since I was a little girl. (My parents did actually punish me by taking books away.) I have read a little of everything, though I tend to prefer fiction. Reading is my escape, whether I'm stressed, upset, or just need a quiet night at home to relax. My mother is an English teacher and my father used to be a theatre teacher; I believe it is through them that I have come to appreciate literature, poetry, and plays.

Aside from reading, I enjoy music, writing, theatre, movies, art, things related to psychology (I recently graduated with a B.S. in Psychology), and calligraphy. My ideal hang-out spot is at a coffee shop with a few close friends, or curled up in my bed, with a book and a cup of tea. I'm a nerd, and I'm okay with that.
