The Catholic Book Club will be reading and discussing Dorothy Day’s “The Long Loneliness” in February. As you have this book on your shelf, we would like to invite you to join us in the discussion. You can find us at: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/98291/about
We hope to hear from you.
God bless
Also sweet God, you have a TON of books on your shelf!
Did we give up on Breathing Underwater? I can go either way on it- I'll read it if you want, or not!
It might be easier if we both get the book, read a certain amount of pages, and then comment in a post or an email or something! Like a book group discussion.
Accidentally rejected one of your title change requests - Mathematical amazements and surprises (Subtitle: fascinating figures and noteworthy numbers) - fumbled fingered the thing while I was correcting your subtitle request
Please - on the subtitle lines, use FLC as appropriate .
Sorry for the inconvenience,
BC
Hi Amanda, I guess our notes must have crossed in the post!
Anyway, further to my last note, the name change I submitted is now approved: http://www.shelfari.com/authors/a305078/Joseph-Ratzinger-%28Pope-Benedict-XVI%29/summary/change_history . However, there may still be some titles associated with the duplicate contributor, so those contributors will need combining. It looks like someone (you?) has already submitted a request to do that, so it should all work out shortly.

Hi Amanda,
I've just been processing some of your requests to change the author of books by the Pope, and I'm afraid I've had to reject a load of them. I think what you were trying to do was correct a spelling mistake in his name... there's a much easier way to do that. You can actually go to the Contributors 'Unbound' page and edit their name there. That has the advantage of correcting the name on all of his books at the same time, and preserves the existing biography that has been written for him. So I've submitted a request to do that.
Thank you for all your efforts to improve the catalogue.

Be not worried! I actually didn't start it yet but I am going to now while waiting for my Australian man-piece to get on Skype XD P.S., how do you want me to return it? I mean, if you're working down here, I can drive it to wherever but I can also drive it to your house, I wasn't sure how we were rocking that XD
I can't remember the name of the book, I'll text Louis right now and ask!
We can go through stuff we own or if we want something controversial, Lou read a teen- possibly- novel about a guy who hits his girlfriend but it's from the guy's point of view. That's it we want to get riled up of course! :)
I love that! I think that would be a lot of fun! I think we should also make it a shorter book, since my list of to-read just gets longer and longer as the days go by! But yes, I love this idea!
I actually reread Give a Boy a Gun in recent memory, like maybe last year or something. Or maybe I made that up @_@ Comments are still there!
I'd better get working! I need to catch up to your numbers! i just finished the left side of my book case, plus all the ones I could remember from way back when.
Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 BOOKS YOU MUST READ BEFORE YOU DIE.

We also have a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with WAR AND PEACE by Tolstoy.
