  • French Women Don't Get Fat: The Secret of Eating For Pleasure
    • Rated 4 stars

This quick read provides great tips for maintaining a healthy, attractive figure. There are some wonderful, simple French recipes that I have tried. Perhaps a much needed read for the "average" American.

Tales of the Kingdom is the first in a trilogy of beautifully told mythical tale. It tells the story of Scarboy, a young orphan, trying to escape the evil Enchanter to find the True King. Similar to Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" & Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia", the Mains use magic interwoven with poignant characters to bring the love of God alive in a powerful way. I loved this book as a child. As an adult I have an even deeper appreciation for the themes of redemption, unconditional love, and sacrifice. This is a must read!!
