i loved veronikia decides to die. my dad loves paulo cuelho too so i gave it to him after i was done. the help was excellent and the movie is up for best picture of the year apparently. (i didn't think it was as good as the book, of course, but it wasn't bad)

oh my goodness, i have not kept you updated on my books at all. i've finished quite a few actually, the noteable ones being "veronika decides to die" and "the help." i'm currently reading "water for elephants" which isn't bad either.
are you planning on seeing extremely loud and incredibly close the movie?

    hi there alyssa,
i finally started a new book "don't let's go to the dogs tonight." it's a memoir about a girl who grew up in afraica. i'm not sure how i feel about it yet. it's beautifully written, but there's a lot of historical facts in it as well that are hard to follow.

i love extremely loud and incredibly close! it's one of my favorites. i haven't really started anything new yet (i gave up on this i believe) because i don't have time to do anything with how much i'm working.

hihihi, it's been awhile since i informed you of my reading. i read the whole "dragon tattoo" series which is honestly one of the best things i've read in awhile. i'm starting "this i believe" which is a bunch of short essays that different people wrote about their personal philosophies.

so i finished the indian book. it was entertaining enough. nothing spectacular or mindblowing. moving onto "the book thief." i am ready to read something captivating and i've heard good things about it.

    hi alyssa,
i just finished electric acid kool aid test. it was alright. i guess i wouldn't really recommend it unless you're interested in ken kesey and how he started the whole acid scene. it was interesting, but the way it was written was kind of annoying in my opinion. some people really like that about it though. i'm starting "the absolutely true diary of a part-time indian" by sherman alexie next. also, i read a few books that were mostly picture books that one of my friends gave to me and those were good, but not exactly reading.

yeah, or use someone else's car. i mean, splitting the cost of gas and motel/hostel rooms also helps make it cheaper. but honestly if you can save like 100 dollars a month then you could easily go on a 2-3 week trip within a year.

well, i don't have a job, i'm not in school at the moment, i definitely don't have any friends. so i tend to drink coffee and read ALL DAY. except the rare occasions where my brother and i go do something. but still. too much time on my hands.
