I'm a pretty broad reader. I'm sure just about anyone could find a lot of books that I would like. Unless, maybe, it was about sports. I really don't like reading about sports. Sorry kids. I love just about all genres, but gravitate toward new age, psychology, fiction/fantasy/sci-fi , graphic novels and comics (please read kabuki), biography, feminism, cultural studies... and I have a huge collection of art books. I even like some science books and stuff. I think I like almost all types of books. I'll have to update my profile later as to what my favorite authors are.
More? I graduated art school (which I loved) from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. I hold a bachelors in fine arts for illustration. I also studied a lot of printmaking there, and that and painting are huge passions of mine. I don't do too well with computers but I'm trying to learn for the sake of graphic design. I'm going to apply to SCAD in their eLearning program for illustration design. It's pretty much what it sounds- fusing illustration to graphic design. I'm looking forward to putting together a new portfolio of stronger works and getting my work out there through conventions and self promotion.
I also play the piano, and I love my dog dearly. I've been playing piano, (classical, because I have no pitch, and was only trained to read music) since I was four. I don't get to practice as much as I would like to, but I still play. Just not so great. My dog is the best. She's a basset hound, named blue. I call her boofis, boo boo, boodina, or just any sort of boo word that doesn't sound like blue. Boocifer, boodini... booglar... all when she's bad. Ha ha
That's enough for now!
