Just thought I would check-in with you. I looked at your blog... At least I think it was yours. I thought you were single without children. I guess I never realized you have 2 kiddos and a husband. Congrats!! I LOVE how you are so truthful and honest. We may not have the same religious views, but I definately agree with you about gay rights. I guess that makes me quite the quandry. I call my self a left-wing Republican. I abhore censorship, the fact the gays do not have the same rights as all Americans and I want a smaller government with more states rights and less nation control. The Founding father's actually had this in mind as well. I think marajuana should be legalized and prostitution as well. But, to throw a "chink" in my beliefs that may be diverse from yours... I believe that anyone that wants to come into our great country should do so through the legal process ONLY. Immigrants have made this country, I welcome them all... I just want the legal system that is inplace to be followed. There are exceptions to every rule though. In closing, I enjoyed learning more about you. Thank you for your thoughts and observations, Erin

Thanks. I know there HAS to be a better way! As I add manually, I'll keep plugging away at the mystery. I can be overly relentless at times! lol.

How can I import my Shelfari books to Goodread? I already have the longgg list DL & saved into several word processors. Surely I don't have to type them all into a table?

Ange, May I ask your help on something? I have this ole left brain/right brain thing going on and I'm missing half my brain! (I'd sure like to find it tho, I need it) As you can probably surmise, the half that's missing is the logical, analytical, numbers side. Help!

    Hi Angie,

I saw that you read and loved The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I have started reading a book
called Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum. It has a different naration style but the themes and story are similar. I am having trouble putting it down to do other things.
Its worth having a look at in the library or your local book shop.

    Happy reading

Hey Ange! Thanks so much :) I think you'll really find it worthwhile. I definitely wanted to read it before the film came out, but now that I've read it, I must admit it is very hard for me to see it becoming a compelling film. I really don't like movies so I am definitely not a good one to consult!! Are you still in Montana these days? We are headed to Big Sky in February. The only place with snow so apparently we lucked out!!

Hey Ange! I am doing fine thanks! The picture was taken by my little brother. He took one of those adventure trips over the holidays and went to Belize for some diving and hiking and such. He took this and several other beautiful pictures. Doesn't it look wonderful? I would love to go there. I will post some other pics he took so you can see those too!

    Ange,
    Thanks for the check in!
We had an amazing and wonderful time in Jamaica, but returned to chaos both at work in in my personal life. Work has just been the normal re-entry stuff but home has been more stressful. Remember the copper pipe theft? Well we returned to find that our home had been broken into and we have been dealing with theft including stolen and forged checks. Probably all by the same people--all is under control now, but I've spent a lot of time with law enforcement...I didn't even open up Shelfari until today. I don't want to dwell on all the ugliness--I'm just going to concentrate on moving forward. Can't wait to catch up with all of you.

Thanks! He is such a cute little cat brat. However, we have had 6-8 grown up kitties in this tree at one time! Then the tree shakes rattles and rolls! So far it has n't fallen down. My hubby refuses to wire it to the wall in the corner.
