Welcome to Shelfari and thank you for the invitation. It would help me recommend if I knew what types of stories or non fiction you like. I have the book SWITCH BITCH, and it is short stories. And Roald Dahl is a master of ss. There are three books of ss that I love The Shell Collector by Anthony Doerr, Sherman Alexie's The Toughest Indian in the World and Barry Lopez's Light Action in the Caribbean. You can look at the books on my Top Ten to see other books that are my favorite. Floating in My Mother's Palm, by Ursula Hegi is one of my all time favorites. I love memoirs and my favorite author for those is May Sarton. I was reading Anna Karenina and An American Tragedy under the covers with a flashlight when I was your age so I tend to think that just about anything is appropriate at 16. I would guess by the five books on your shelf that you are reading adult. One of my favorite genres is mystery and to isolate those on my shelves just go to the tag mystery and they will show up separately. Happy reading. It would also be fun to know a little more about you. When your inclined why not do a short profile.
