The Lost City of Z

“I am enjoying this book and all the details regarding Percy Fawcett's trips into the Amazon to survey and map the area and then to find the lost city. This is an area I am not familiar with and I was shocked by some of the historical facts regarding the conditions of the times and of travelling in the early 1900's, as well as learining about the early rubber manufacturing.”

Cemetery Dance

“I picked this book up as a quick read on the way back and forth to the hospital to visit my mother, and was surpirised by how good it was. I have read a few of Preston and Child's books, but found the last few just ok, this one was so worth reading. I then lent it to my mother to help her pass the time in hospital, not much to do in the cardiac unit, and she said she didn't think she would enjoy it, because she doesn't like "scary" books (lol) but she really enjoyed it. Will have to put them back on my list.”
