Hi Allison! I hope your writing is going well. Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm rather slow on the uptake but .. what's all this rot about God ruining your life? :-) Seriously though.. i don't get it! I've got as far as Heroin "can" ruin your life and a good book "can" ruin your life (any book can, for that matter, depending on who is doing the reading and how desperately he/she needs to believe in the world therein). But that's as far as i could go! So.. are you saying there is a "good heroin" that ruins your life (oh yes please, bring it on; bunches of them); and a God good that can ruin your life....?? :-s Or is there a comma missing there? Sorry for the confusion. English is my 2nd language
M loved Little House on the Prarie then also... when she is ready try the Myra Waldo 'Sacajawea' I think it is the best.Allison thank you for the moment I read 'between the spank and the breath' and more. I love poetry that causes me to stop mycurrent breath and thought. Were you the woman looking out the window at the city and now you have unending vistas and a move in kitten. I'mso happy for you.
Yes, thanks I have been looking for that book :Blue Highways. Thanks
what a neat memory you have just prompted - reading William Least Heat Moon... I adore road trips; also The Road.
the cake shop is now open
lovely!
That you're eyes are still open and clear inspires me. Our connection is A strong west wind.More than fresh air.
Great. Also wondering if you know or have had courses from Scott Cairns. I know he sometimes teaches at Glen and has been in Image. nok
That is cool! Would you care to share some of your poetry with me?
Hi, Allison - I've read about the Glen for the past few years but haven't been able to attend. I live south of Albuquerque. I love Image Journal. Went to their weeklong festival/workshop in Seattle about 4 years ago.
Really!@ Was that in Texas? If I recall he teaches there. I'm in NM. Tell me about the Glen. I've wondered, especially when I lived in Seattle. But haven't accumulated the dollars. Perhaps next year. Do you write poetry or prose? Noktylos
I see a note to you referring to the glen. Is that the NM workshop from Image? noktylos
