"Sometimes you read a book so special that you want to carry it around with you for months after you've finished, just to stay near it." - Markus Zusak

    DRACULA: Hearts of Stone.
Enter this world of magical vampires. It’s a place where enchantment and biters interweave for an exciting adventure.
It’s a tale of magic, romance and fangs; a tale of valor.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

    OR
Madman in the Mirror is delightfully different.
A very unique and well written book- MADMAN IN THE MIRROR is on a class by itself- and that is a very impressive class at that- A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished- the true sign of a great writer!!

I was so disappointed when I didn't see you monday :( I'll miss our little talks. Ok so last sacrifice I was was blown out of the water when they revealed it was Tasha that killed the queen. I was so not expecting that. I'm so glad that Dimitri and rose are back together but feel bad for Adrian cause it seems like he is really losing it now. :( I really liked last sacrifice but I have to say blood promise was my favorite. This one just didn't have as much action as I would have liked. Can't wait till Bloodlines comes out. :)

I have never read Jane Eyre. I never liked the old movie, and so I didn't think I would like the book. I always thought the story seemed pretty silly, you know, being haunted by the evil ghost of the first wife. Plus the main character is too meek.

I thought it was pretty good. Even though I knew what happened to her, I still got all teary-eyed at the end. The vampire perspective was pretty great, too. :) I want more Fred (weird name choice, btw). Excited about the movie too!

Tomorrow is Thursday, and you know what that means! So we are doing Mexican food night. I'm gonna make pico de gallo and vegan tacos. So, if you want to bring stuff too that would be awesome. Guacamole, taco meat for you and Sean, or whatever. I'll probably bring peanut butter cookies too.

Okay, so I'm bringing chili and cornbread tomorrow. It's pretty spicy so I hope you like. If you want you can bring one or more of the following: sour cream, pickle relish, cheese, some kind of a dessert, or some kind of appetizer. Anything really! The 29th, I'm thinking Halloween themed dinner.
