“ The book was a Free Friday offer from Barnes and Noble so of course I got it who would not. If you read the way I do free books are a joy. Not all of them are read, not all of them are to my liking.
However, this one was very much to my liking.
Maylene is the Graveminder in the start, when an unexpected tragedy occurs her granddaughter Rebekkah finds that she has suddenly been given the task of Graveminder. As you move through the story and meet her Undertaker, Byron you learn of a past between the two that has joy and sorrow.
While Rebekkah and Byron work through how they feel about each other and what their new positions are within the town you meet Mr. “D” aka Charlie and then we meet Alicia.
You get just a hint of what is going on, enough to make you want to continue on the journey with these characters and learn all that you are able. When you do get to the end you will find that there needs to be more, why because you know that this author has more to tell. Mostly you want more.
This story, these characters have such great potential so much so that I thank the author Melissa Marr for sharing her imagination with us and for the world she has created for us to visit in the Graveminder.
My wish is that there will be more tails from Claysville for I know there are more to tell.
So all journeys start at the beginning I recommend that you start at the beginning of this one by purchasing and reading Grave Minder by Melissa Marr.
