About "Use Both Sides of Your Brain".
I found it very interesting and very useful for some things.
It gives you techniques for faster reading and remembering, also for memorizing and keeping information in your long term memory.
I found that part less useful because I read fast enough for my purposes and enjoyment, and my memory has always been awesome.
I could improve, of course, but I am past the point of reading assigned texts and taking exams.
The part about Mind Maps interested me most of all.
Mind Maps help you organize information - both the stuff from books and your own thoughts. You do it in a visual manner on one piece of paper - so much better than scribbled notes on a bunch of post-it notes, not to mention Powerpoint. Very useful when you need to write a paper, give a speech, convince friends that your opinions are right. Great for writing a novel or planning a trip.
Check the book out. The author gives you exercises to try on your own. Don't feel that you have to use all his methods. Pick what is best for you.

Hi, I know of an interesting webpage that's related to yoga and spiritual technology. Personally.I think the concept of using a machine for metaphysical and spiritual purposes is quite fascinating, yet still a bit ahead of its time for some people. I hope you find this page intriguing and a useful as a resource for accessing related information as well: www.thisispk.org/raddemo.html

    Hi Andy
No, I am afraid I haven't read it. I read another one about him perhaps 35 years ago but I can't remember the title. I read this one about a year ago.

I will be 52 years old next month. I had a very difficult childhood. My faith and prayerlife, are what "got-me-through" many 'tough' situations. As my faith/beliefs strengthened, so did I. My prayer life keeps me connected to God's direction for my life. My prayer life also keeps me 'close' to the needs of others. It 'works' , for me. I can not imagine living any other way... As a "prayer-warrior", I am open to the needs of others, and lead to pray for them, whenever they come to mind.

Hi Andy, As stated in my prifile, "...HAVE BEEN A "BORN AGAIN" CHRISTIAN SINCE JULY 1963." So that would be almost 45 years that I have 'chosen' this life.

Hi, Andy, Nice to meet you, too. You asked for my favorite 'verse'... [I have many...] "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isa. 40:31). (and) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and don't lean on your own understanding. In all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your way. [Proverbs 3:5, 6]” ..are words I live by.

LIke... "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" Or "If a tree falls in the woods and there is no one to hear it... Does it make a sound?" You seem to know English extremely well. Did you go to a University?

    Andy....

I like your picture, and your plethora of cliché's. What are you doing there in India?? I'm gonna take a stab and guess you are of another origin... or maybe you were educated abroad? Your "Pearls of Wisdom" are very "Earthy" ... Never eat yellow snow. Buy low... Sell High. 2sweet2B4gotten.
