    “Fantastic account of what it might have been like to be a slave. The depictions of the slavery, and what they were forced to do and give up is horrifying, but you know it did happen, all that and more. I would say this is a must read!”

    “A great insight as to why Fleury is the way he is, as a teen I loved him, he was fantastic on the ice, such a showman. When things were being printed about him and the things he was doing I couldn't believe that someone with so much promise could do those things. Now, I understand why and I admire him for his strength in writing his story.”
