I like a good book and I try to find some time every other day to read. In my opinion, it is the perfect past-time!
I have some favourite authors (as you will see in my Favourites section, one of them is Salman Rushdie but then there are also Margaret Atwood, Julian Barnes, Henry James) and I have a few least favourite ones (e.g. Coelho).... more »

    Bună ziua,

    Thank you for your reply. Well, you should separate two different facts: searching and finding. If you edit a title in proper Romanian, it'll be approved and show after searching. It is the search engine that does not have the ability to deal with special characters. If I want to find a title such as "España y los españoles", I will have to type "espana y los espanoles", but then I'll find the correct title. Please let me know if you ever found an exception :)

    Hi Alina,

    I approved your edit for Meditaţii, elegii, epistole, satire şi fabule but corrected it. You had changed those rogue ? marks but you did not write the special characters (t-cedilla and s-cedilla) and I wondered why. Haven't you got a Romanian keyboard? You know it is desirable to have the titles correct. The only limitation is that you have to avoid special characters when searching, but then you will get the correct title (type "meditatii si fabule" and it'll find "meditaţii şi fabule".

    Nu stiu ce sa zic despre Matusa Julia pentru ca inca sunt foarte la inceput. Citesc Ballet shoes si chiar daca e doar o carte de copii,e adorabila :) eu chiar speram ca Matusa J sa fie o carte minunata, asa auzisem din alte surse... mi-am cam schimbat punctul de vedere acum, dar trebuie s-o citesc ca sa-mi formez o parere ;))

    Chiar maine e intalnirea pt luna decembrie daca nu ma insel.
    In caz ca vrei sa faci o plimbare maine dupa-amiaza iti spun ca poti sa mergi cu toata increderea. Am fost si eu, dar in alt oras, si desi am ezitat putin, lumea e foarte draguta si sociabila, desi nu cunosti pe nimeni.

    Nu stiu daca ai fost vreodata, dar voiam sa-ti spun ca exista niste intalniri lunare ale celor care se ocupa de site-ul bookblog, intalniri la care participa pasionati de carti de toate varstele si am vazut ca in brasov chiar se tin de multa vreme de treaba. poti sa mai imprumuti de acolo diverse carti, in functie de preferinte. :)

    Hi Alina. I wanted to let you know that why I rejected some of your separation requests for Gulliver Travels. When we get the request it says "Alina B submitted a request to move the edition Gulliver's Travels to a different book 5 hours ago." As you can see all we see about the edition is the edition title. If it has identifying information this is not a problem (such as "Alina B submitted a request to move the edition Gulliver's Travels (Saddleback's Illustrated Classics) to a different book 5 hours ago.") but when the title of the edition does not make it obvious why you are requesting it be separated we have nothing to go on. For books with fewer editions we can look at the editions list and figure out which one it was, but with books with 1000s of editions this can be quite tedious. So I rejected some of your submissions because I did not know the reason you were requesting that they be separated. In the future, if you put some information in the notes to the approvers section and include the ISBN if you know it, it would be easier for the approver and your submissions would probably be approved faster. Thanks for all your hard work.

    i am removing a few harlequin bianca's at a time to add to the english versions. its only temporary. while editing the harlequins i am trying to combine the various language editions. i find if it doesnt show bianca, azur, julia ect its easier for me to # & put the correct edtion cover on the community list. as i go i will be putting them back on the lists. right now i am doing the bianca's. i'll get to the others as i get there. :)

    i was getting really confused on the harlequin series and where to put them all, as sometimes someone would take them out of what i had done. so i asked a librairan (BC) & he told me to put all publisher series in the community lists and the others go in the reg series. whch means i have made a lot of mistakes. bare w/ me a it will take me a while to find them all & fix them. sorry for the inconvience.
