Alice, I'd like you to review my first novel, Velvet Totalitarianism: the one about the struggles of a Jewish-Romanian family under
the Ceausescu regime. How should we do this? Would you like to trade addresses privately, by email, so that we can send each other's books to one another, for review?

    Best wishes,
    Claudia

Alice, yes, I'd love to read your book. Maybe we can trade novels and reviews. We seem to have written on similar
subjects, since my novel is about the sufferings of a Jewish-Romanian family during the Ceausescu regime in Romania.

    Best wishes,
    Claudia

Alice, nice to meet you. Yes, we do share common experiences of immigration and adapting to the U.S. Your novel sounds interesting. Maybe we can trade novels and review each other's books on goodreads and amazon. I think this kind of reciprocity is a win-win situation. I'd also be glad to review your novel on my literary blog,

I read some of your memoir on Amazon and I like it. It could fit nicely with a unit our sophomores do on Elie Wiesel's Night. Was it reviewed in any of the big journals? I try to stay up on YA lit and I haven't heard of your book before this. Would you consider sending copies to state library award committees for review? That could get it some press. I can put you in touch with the Pennsylvania committee if you're interested.

Well, to me it seems as though, the members of my group, seem to read a lot of fiction, but I'm sure some would be interested in non-fiction.

I'm not in a booth this year, but I am attending the event with a group of chick-lit authors to spend Saturday wandering around and enjoying the festival. I'm sure we'll stop by the Author's Den booth. =) See you then!

Alice, we both read at The Grove with IWOSC. I, too, am spread so thin across so many social networking sites. I just happened to receive a message on Shelfari and when I logged in, I decided to upload my email address book to see who else might be on here--that's how your name came up. =) Best of luck with your memoir!
