after looking back on it, i demoted cold mountain from my 'favorites.' i still really enjoyed it and stand by it as a good book. but i totally get it if you are struggling to get into it. mostly, i just want your opinion on how the whole thing ends.

SUP THIS SITE IS SO COOL i looked through your shelf and found so many books that i had forgotten about, e.g. The Face on the Milk Carton TOTALLY FORGOT about that one
I'd say about 5 pages into it I was fully prepared to finish the entire trilogy. I just finished Brave New World which I thought was going to be loosely the same idea (I LOVE scary what-happens-in-the-future type books like 1984, handmaids tail, Fahrenheit 451) but it just really really disappointed me. Hunger games has made up for it completely.
